windows 7 upgrade?

hi,
i've a little elonex web book which i upgraded the ram to 1gb from the standard 512mb.
my question is will it run any better with windows 7 rather than xp which is on it now?

tough call, we know xp is faster then vista, and we know 7 is faster then vista, but not sure if 7 is faster then xp

if i had to put money on it, i would say xp is lighter and hence faster then 7, but you never know.

I have the Gateway 3103u with an AMD Athlon 64 and 2gig ram. Think it's possible to run the 7 64bit?

Good question....I have used Windows XP, Ubantu, Vista and Windows 7 among all I would like say that XP is better than all because It give fastest access, Flexible, user-friendly OS. If I Instead of you, I will prefer XP.

XP is generally better, and if its already on it, its less work to update.
